Yoga provides many benefits including;

  • Improves the ability to listen and cope with feelings.
  • Enhances student receptivity to teaching and learning.
  • Promotes improved attention, understanding and memory.
  • Improves self confidence and awareness.
  • Calms the nerves, Improves self discipline and patience by grounding in the present moment.
  • Helps us to prioritise.
  • Enables the student to reclaim energy invested in negative patterns of thinking and behaviour.
  • Develops sensitivity to feelings and emotions of both self and others.
  • Repetition of yoga sequences and breathing patterns provide a secure boundary that expands as our inner awareness develops, helping us to perceive a greater awareness of our surroundings.
